More than 80,000 Ukrainian children are now subject to compulsory schooling in Poland. However, many of them don’t speak Polish, which makes it harder for them to connect with their peers.

What we did:

Info:
We created a series of cheat sheet stickers with expressions that young people use every day. We featured them in a video promoting the initiative among students, and distributed them in Polish schools.
Classmates learned slang in a fun way by comparing Polish and Ukrainian pronunciations of the same expressions they found on the stickers.

The campaign was promoted through a dedicated website, posters, and stickers, effectively reaching students throughout Poland via social media and banner advertising.

The modeling clay idea

Looking for an engaging and fun way of learning, I came up with the idea of using modeling clay-style visuals for words and expressions.
I found this style to be perfect for articulation cue cards that are commonly used to visualize sounds in language learning, and is more memorable, tactile, and visually appealing.
